Doctors have found a new way to recreate parts you have
lost. They use cells to create a body part like an ear. Scientists attack it to
the body and the skin grows around it. This technology revolutionizes the way
we look at prosthetics.
I believe
this technology is a great way to help soldiers when they are wounded. If
someone gets shot or takes a blow you can easily print out another. I’m not
very sure that they can do full legs and other parts, but I believe in a few
years they will be able to almost create a whole face. Someone could accidently
cut their fingers off and doctors just take a few hours to get another one
back.
It is a
very complicated machine but very sizable it takes whatever the kind of cells
the part is and recreate a fake part from its cells. If they create a whole
body then it would lead in to humans that aren’t really humans but yet they are
like robots.
This
technology is a lot better than prosthetics. Instead of a heavy metal around
your leg you have a skin like material. It looks and feels like you never lost
an ear at all. I would love to try this out because image the world or
possibilities this creates. We might not need robots maybe just “people”.
Scientists
would be able to create the important parts like the heart, lungs, brain, and
other things to make people function better. For the heart they could use an
artificial heart that they already know how to make. They could easily find
brains and lungs would probably be the easiest part. They need to find a place
to start from like a few parts of a dead body to make it come to life.
